As well as all the usual traditional features of the Show, we managed to cram a lot of extra exciting attractions into this years show including a Battle of Britain Tribute, Working Truck Show Display, Toy Story on Horseback, Wildlife Zoo, Birds of Prey display, Parrot Roadshow and much much more.   at this years Moorgreen Show!

  Experience the Village Green Marquee featuring arts and crafts demonstrations and displays galore at this years Moorgreen Country Show, many of which visitors will be able to try their hand at!

  At the 2010 Show, we have Fly Tying, Basket Weaving, Willow Weaving, Dowsing, Hand Spinning, Rugmaking, Textile Arts, Hand Knitted clothing, an Historic Agricultural Display, Woodturning and The Crusader Bowmen demonstrating how to make arrows and Longbows, plus much more!

  Moorgreen Country Show hosts a large selection of interesting Trade and Craft Stands with goods available for purchase, and information and promotions to be discovered.

  And the 2010 Moorgreen Country Show is no exception with a vast array of fascinating Trade and Craft Stands featuring everything from Face Painting to 4x4 vehicles, from Conservatories and Windows to Handmade Sweets, Toffees and Fudges, from outdoor / Equestrian products and goods to charity / animal welfare promotions, and from farm shop produce to dog clothing, it's all here and everything in between!

  Magnificent BIRDS of PREY
  from GRS FALCONRY at the
  2010 Moorgreen Show!

  Worcestershire based GRS Falconry will be helping the Show get off to a flying start this year with their magnificent display of Birds of Prey.

  The display which takes place in the Main Ring features both static and flying displays with around 20 birds in total including hawks, buzzards, falcons and owls from all around the world!

  Additionally, the falconers of GRS Falconry will be inviting visitors to Moorgreen Show to get up close and personal with the birds whilst on static display! Don't miss this marvellous wildlife display!

  WILDLIFE ZOO DISPLAY!
  A chance to get "hands-on" experience with wonderful wildlife!

  Bryan Paterson returns to Moorgreen Country Show this year with the wonderful Wildlife Zoo Display!

  The Wildlife Petting Zoo Display allows visitors to get up close to the animals many of which can also be handled too!

  His display will include snakes, spiders, insects, meerkats, kune kune pigs, and pygmy goats and much more. The interactive educational display also includes rabbits, guinea pigs and a fabulous selection of birds of prey.

  TOY STORY ON HORSEBACK!
  'Musical Ride of the Shire Horses' and 'Woody's Activity Yard'!

  Coinciding with the release of Toy Story 3, Waldburg Shires are bringing their 'Toy Story: Musical Ride of the Shire Horses' and 'Woody's Activity Yard' along to the Show this year!

  Six of the magnificent shire horses, handsomely decorated and ridden by riders dressed as characters from the iconic childrens film will take to the Main Ring this year.

  Additionally, 'Woody's Activity Yard' will be open for business where kids of all ages can take part in fun activities such as lassoing, panning for gold and the game of horseshoes!

  'Their Finest Hour'
  BATTLE of BRITAIN TRIBUTE and HURRICANE FIGHTER

  'Their Finest Hour' events unit come to Moorgreen Country Show in 2010 with their Battle of Britain Tribute!

  Exclusively arranged for the summer of 2010 to commemorate the 70th Anniversary of the Battle of Britain, the 'Their Finest Hour' events unit provides a unique exhibition and display of memorabilia including a full-sized replica of a Hurricane Fighter which provides unique photo opportunities for anyone coming along!

  The MOORGREEN
  WORKING TRUCK SHOW
  makes its debut at this year's show!

  2010 sees the debut of the Moorgreen Working Truck Show.

  Around 100 of these giants of the road will be in the show organised by the Derwent Valley Working Truck Group who have helped raise around £15,000 for charity over the last three years.

  The display will include a special truck ring featuring a large scale recovery of a simulated road accident as well as a Michelin Formula One Race Simulator with full-size car! MAN Trucks will also have thir own display unit on show.

  More of our feathered friends from POLLY'S PARROTS ROADSHOW!

  Moorgreen Country Show are delighted to welcome John "Polly" Pollard ("The Parrot Man") and his feathered friends to the 2010 Show!

  Polly's Parrots Roadshow is billed as the only parrot show of it's kind in the UK and is described as unpredictable, entertaining and educational!

  These colourful, exotic and charismatic birds - many of which have been rescued are on display throughout both days at the 2010 Moorgreen Show and also take part in three daily stage shows we feel sure will appeal to all age ranges.

  NATIONAL SHOW of the
  BRITISH GLADIOLUS SOCIETY hosted at Moorgreen Show 2010!

  Moorgreen Country Show's ever-growing reputation has led to it's selection by the British Gladiolus Society to host its National Show this year.

  It's a tremendous honour and privilege for us to be chosen as the venue and reflects upon the hard work, initiative and enthusiasm of the show's Horticultural Committee.

  The Show will be a key feature of this years Horticultural Show at Moorgreen featuring almost 150 classes for flowers, plants, floral art displays, fruits, vegetables and culinary classes.

  Marvel at the Oriental artistry of CHINESE VEGETABLE CARVING!

  The show's talented Chinese Vegetable Carving artist, Mr Chi San Lao returns to Moorgreen Country Show this year in the Village Green Marquee.

  The Chinese passion of carving realistic flowers out of vegetables to be then used as table decorations is a truly remarkable sight to witness.

  This year his intended floral displays will include arrangements of Cherry Blossom, Tulip and Arum Lily, Dahlia "Jomanda", Camellia and Rose.

  Our good friends over at BREEZE Magazine caught up with Show Vet and brand NEW Moorgreen Show President, John Mason, just a few days before the 2010 show.

  This fascinating interview explores John Mason's early humble beginnings and how he came to specialise in Equine Veterinary practice and how his profession has evolved over the years.
